Join us for our 6-week Fall 2025 Zouk dance class series in downtown Winston-Salem! Zouk is a Brazilian partner dance, done to a wide range of modern and latin music, known for its fun, flowing, graceful moves and options for close embrace to “wi-fi” and everything in between. Many “zoukinis” describe it as having elements of lambada, samba, bachata, kizomba, blues/fusion, hip hop and even ballet.
This class series is designed for beginners & intermediate+. If you’re brand new to zouk, come join but please try to make the first class, as we will build from there. Taught by long time zouk dancers Andrew Pearson & Julia Barry.
The series will be progressive, but if you can’t make every class, you’ll still be able to learn and dance, as we’ll each week we’ll teach moves and concepts that can be learned independent of the prior week. No partner required, but spread the word!
